A Minute Meditation – January 29, 2018

It takes a while to develop a prayer life. A while to develop the faith to believe that we have a benevolent God who cares about us and listens to us when we pray.

Unfortunately, we live in the microwave era where we expect everything immediately and so the idea of waiting a while on an answer to prayer seems unacceptable.

Often we give up or complain that God has turned His back on us. But 1 Thessalonians 5:16 reminds us to pray without ceasing.

Remember, God’s ways are not our ways and His timing is not ours. But He is an on-time God and will show up, with the answer, just when we need Him most.

So let us have faith and wait.
