A Minute Meditation – February 4, 2018

Consider soldiers on the front lines…they are in a constant state of vigilance.

They know that any time they let their guards down, they have given the enemy a potential foothold which can ultimately lead to disaster.

Sometimes just keeping up with daily tasks is overwhelming. Between children, work and the other demands of life, it can be exhausting, and we are tempted to skip our prayers, Bible study or even attending church.

But that’s just what the enemy waits patiently for…a chink in our armour…an area in which to make inroads.

Instead we are encouraged to pray and ask God for strength whenever we feel like we are running on empty.

We simply cannot afford not to.
