I will admit that this is one type of seed that may be difficult to find if you looked into any fruit that I produced.
Is that even possible in these times in which we live?
Well, yes! For two reasons.
1. Remember, this is not my fruit or your fruit.
No! It’s the Holy Spirit’s who is able to supernaturally accomplish what you or I are unable to do.
Colossians 3:15 urges us, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…you are called to peace.”
Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Remember, we cannot do it in our own strength, but “…with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
2. Peace is possible, even when we feel like we can’t dredge it up because God offers us His peace.
Check out these reassuring references from the Bible:
Psalm 29:11, “…The Lord blesses His people with peace.”
Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep thee in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.”
John 16:33, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace…”
John 14:12, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you…”
When the cares of this world threaten to overwhelm us, remember we have our Heavenly Father who is willing, ready and able to provide us with peace.
All we need to do is stay in His Word and surrender ourselves.
His promises won’t be of any comfort to us when we face challenging circumstances if we never acquaint ourselves with them.
He bids us, “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
Let us purpose to allow God’s peace to be perpetuated in our hearts in 2019.
Just think how better life would be.
