As I watched the surf pounding the beach today, I couldn’t help but admire its resilience. Waves come ashore every few seconds, originating from only God knows where.
With every undulation, they take something from the beach; yet every wave leaves something behind.
Every encounter leaves the beach a little different. Sometimes worse off; other times better. Still, the beach remains, resilient.
It knows that despite the inevitable buffeting, its existence is in the hands of the Creator of the universe.
Be like the beach.
