Help Wanted

Working for God would probably never be described as easy.

Jesus was quite frank about what you could expect if you chose to follow Him.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
Matthew 5:10‭-‬12 NIV

So persecution, insults, false accusations and any kind of evil could come your way once you sign up for this job.

Not exactly the most enticing of perks.

And the prophets of old were ridiculed, imprisoned, branded as crazy and more.

Not exactly great references.

But those things will only matter to us if our focus is here on earth.

Instead, we are encouraged to, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
Colossians 3:2 NIV

Friends, the job won’t be easy, but the retirement plan is beyond anything you or I could ever imagine.

It’s out of this world!

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
