There are times when we are surrounded by dark clouds, and it can be difficult to see the sun. Sometimes you see them rolling in from the horizon; other times it seems like they sneak up on you – one minute the sky seems normal, and the next not.
Life can be the same way.
One minute it seems like you’re living a “normal” life when suddenly, something unexpected just shows up and changes everything; other times you can see the chaos slowly coming your way, yet your attempts to stop it prove futile.
Thankfully, when life gets dark, and it gets difficult to see the sun, the SON is always there.
Thankfully, we have 24/7, 365 day access to the SON who is the source of our lives.
“This is what love is: it is not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven.” 1 John 4:10 GNT
Even on gloomy days, we can shine through the darkness – if we allow ourselves to reflect the SON.
It is possible that we may help to encourage someone else when they see our lights shining.
So in the midst of our darkest days, let’s allow the SONshine in!
