The Presence of Evil

It’s impossible to be a Christian and believe the devil isn’t real.

If he wasn’t real, there would be no need for a Saviour.

It is easy to get caught up in the feel-good aspects of Christianity and ignore the fact that we are in a spiritual war.

Every single day, there is a battle being fought for our souls.

Dark stuff right?

So today I remind myself of a few things:

1. The devil’s aim is to make my life as miserable as possible so that I will cease to believe in a loving, caring God.

2. He will use people to try to accomplish that goal.

3. The same way in which he can use someone else, I too can allow myself to be used based on how I respond to the situation.

4. Everyone is struggling; my struggle is different from yours, but let us both be kind.

Christianity is not an easy road to walk. We will stumble at times. But when God is for you, no weapon formed against you can prosper.

Because He did, we can.

    Good day Michal

Happy New Year and I hope that all is well. I love reading your posts but this morning three things caught my attention.

    1. WednesdayWisdom – something I was considering with the same words. And you did it with the other days as well. I loved that.
    2. You were able to get the icons for Twitter and Facebook on to your page. I’ve been trying to do that. It hasn’t worked. (Check my blog🙈). Maybe it had to do with the plan I have with WordPress. What do you think?
    3. A couple months ago I thought of selling T-shirts online and was looking for a store that would do that especially to my potential international customers. How has your experience been with Bonfire? Would you recommend them?

Thanks for your response and help.
