I am sitting in my car this morning, and the rain is pouring down. The cascading water covers the windows as though a blanket, and I cannot help but feel safe and secure. (I can’t say that I felt the same driving through a storm on a Texas highway.)

I love that I can enjoy the rain, but thankfully I am not getting wet.

Isn’t that so like Jesus?

The storms of life can buffet and beat against us, but if we stay under His wings, we will be safe.

Although my vision is currently obscured, I can still feel the rays of sunlight on my face; they’ve managed to pushed past the overcast clouds into my rainy cocoon to warm my body and my heart.

Thank you Jesus!

We are never alone. No matter how difficult our current situation, we can have hope in Him.

Jesus said”…I will be with you always, to the end of the age.”
